INITIATE & DEFINE

The initiation phase is the beginning of every project, where the idea behind it is explored and elaborated to examine its feasibility. Questions typically addressed in this phase include the following: Why this project? Is it feasible? What parties are involved? What is the project scope? What is the expected outcome? In this phase, it makes sense to explicitly agree on the type of project being initiated to prevent false expectations concerning the results of the project.

During the definition phase, the list of requirements, which specifies the guidelines that the project must adhere to, are defined in collaboration by all parties who are involved in the project. This involves setting the right expectations with regard to the project outcome based on several distinct categories of project requirements, such as: Preconditions, Functional Requirements, Operational Requirements, and Design Limitations.

DESIGN & DEVELOP

In the design phase, one or more designs are developed by our seasoned staff of VA’s or virtual team, with which the project result can apparently be achieved. While the list of requirements that is developed in the definition phase can be used to make design choices that would shape the expected project outcome. As in the definition phase, once a conclusive design has been chosen that will be produced in the project, it cannot be changed in a later stage of the project.

During the development phase, it shall be clear what must be done in the implementation phase, by whom and when, and everything needed to execute the project is arranged. The development phase is complete when implementation is ready to start. At this point, our pool of your choice talents are apt for deployment as per your project schedule.

IMPLEMENT & FOLLOW-UP

The project takes shape during the implementation phase. At this point, the client’s hand-picked virtual assistant/s or team is highly geared and wired to execution of the actual project that would achieve the expected project outcome. Depending on the scale and complexity of the project, a designated Project Manager will act as the focal point of communication with the customer, manage project progress against schedule, and ensure timely delivery of the project. This phase is complete when all of the requirements specified in the definition phase have been met and when the result corresponds to the design.

In the follow-up phase, the main concern is when and where the project ends. During this phase, the defined scope of the project is evaluated, and everything needed to bring the project to a successful completion is arranged and covered.
